Aloha Mokihana, island girl. This video reminded me of what an important role the ocean played during my transition into living with MCS. I had to give up my work and most of my friends, all my plans and dreams that I had at the time. I then spent an entire summer at the beach, walking and swimming and figuring things out. It was the salt water and fresh air and pulse of the waves that moved me through “that jittery time” and helped me find my new path, my new life. I’m happy the video gave you, too, a reminding of the power and peace of the ocean.
Here’s my first post on Canary, about my summer at the sea. http://www.thecanaryreport.org/2008/05/22/shot-of-fresh-air/
