Susie, I have a really cautious biological dentist, and I trust him. Good advice to
talk about concerns with them first. I think I will have one tooth done and see how it goes from there. I only have two areas needing work....the two most highly "charged" teeth, but one side will require removing a crown, etc. Fun, fun!!!
There is so much fear involved with everything I have to do, medically or dental...that is what I need to overcome the most...fear of the unknown!

On a brighter note: Thank you all for the great birthday party yesterday!!!!
It made my day!!!! As for the Chinese food....I ate the WHOLE thing!!!! aaaahhhhh

Hi Ruth, heads up, removal of dental fillings.,look into a good natural path dentistry ,google natural dentistry ,Dr. Madison Basie perhaps. I have dental implants and would die to have them removed , I am too much a risk..

Now do not panic I am a time bomb so many things bother me , the opposite side of foil ,shinny side, google it too.

Now if you ask an allopathic dentist he will give you the info he knows, not the info you many need .the fox watching the chicken coop! With myself each reaction I encounter I document it then once recovered I simply google it .

We are the only ones who can truly care for our bodies.

You can safely have them removed with IV mega vitamins ,a necessary !!! if you can tolerate the vinyl tubing, if not build up on mega Vite. orally the pure power works best and is the least expensive.Kripps pharmacy BC can help with these. !!!ships all over world ,forever it seems.

However megs vitamins to build your immune system are required so you can tolerate all the out gassing when they drill or disturb metal OK ,google as well {removing dental fillings MCS sufferer} deadly important info .before proceeding pal.!You will locate the info .Knowledge is power but only if you use it.! Dr. Zoltan Rona in Toronto, {dr.rona.com },too is extremely informed and has experience in the field. Good luck ! I Irene, BC .Canada

Redheads? Oooo, Yaya, and you would be in so much trouble because that hair is so RED! So beautiful!

Yaya and Ruth, as with the nitrous oxide, even people without Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (the condition of having adverse symptoms from exposure to low levels as well as high levels of toxic chems) might have a bad reaction to local anesthesia. But we are all different. I have MCS and had NO reaction to the local given at the dentist for recent root canal. But whether you have MCS or have had a bad reaction to dental anesthesia, all I can say is discuss that with your dentist before anything is administered. And I would also say, if your dentist won't LISTEN to your concerns and really talk WITH you about it, change dentists!

I'm due to start having some amalgams removed/replaced sometime in the near future....I'm concerned about the anesthetic for that, even though we had the materials tested with kinesiology...I still worry. Anyone have reactions to that sort of thing?

Wow, scary. I've always reacted poorly to things such as anesthesia and I'm always told 'redheads react worse than others'....but now I'm wondering if it's really chemical sensitivity?

no!
i think when my spirit decided to be born it said "let's do it all!"
....
I could pass on some of these, but it makes a person extra understanding of what others go through if you have been there too!

I hadnt thought about laughing gas in so long... way before i knew i had MCS or had the symptoms as bad as i do now I was given laughing gas to have wisdom teeth removed. As soon as they put the mask (stinky plastic smelling mask) over my face and began the gas inhale i actually has a heart spasm and nearly fell on the floor. Then I almost threw up. A very small percentage of people die from exposure to that gas each year and I was told that if it gives a bad reaction like i had to never use it again, because it can give a heart attack.
